About Us...

Terrascan was established in Y2K as a platform for independent, flexible and cost-effective geophysical consulting. Terrascan provides a full range of geophysical services from data acquisition and analysis to research and development, specialized geophysical instrumentation and laboratory characterization of soil physical properties.

Innovative instrumentation and data acquisition techniques are currently being developed for a range of specialized applications from landmine detection and forensic ID to non-invasive reconnaissance of archaeological sites.

Commitment to sound fundamentals, attention to detail and practical technology yields down to earth solutions.

Geophysical Surveys and Monitoring...

Stym-38:

Terrascan provides a full spectrum of geophysical field surveys and monitoring for small-scale to large-scale applications.

As required Terrascan goes beyond the routine to deliver innovative solutions to unusual and challenging data acquisition problems.

An extensive inventory of special-purpose field instrumentation ensures flexible, time-efficient and cost-effective investigations.

k-probe: Soils Laboratory Services...

In connection with ongoing research and development activities Terrascan has established a comprehensive laboratory capability for characterization of soil physical properties.

Specialized instrumentation is employed to measure complex frequency-dependent soil electromagnetic and acoustic properties over a frequency range extending from DC to 3 GHz. Additional static parameters including thermal and electro-chemical properties are also measured.

A variety of soils characterization technologies are available for in situ testing.

      • Electrical Conductivity
      • Electrical Permittivity
      • Magnetic Susceptibility
      • Acoustic/Seismic Impedance
      • Thermal Conductivity
      • pH / ORP / CEC
      • Moisture / Texture
